I refuse to decorate until Dec 1st at the earliest. My husband would rather start on Thanksgiving weekend. I also insist it all come down before new years day. I enjoy it but I want it to be a finite season. ;)
No, no - honor each holiday! Decorate for fall now, and Thanksgiving - pumpkins and gourds are great! I usually get excited about decorating for Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend, but then I usually wait until the next weekend to start. I don't, however, take my Christmas decorations down until after the feast of the Three Kings in early January. Then, I'll just leave all the "snowy, wintry, non-Christmas" things up until Valentine's Day. :)
