Grrr... Continental

So I'm back but none of my clothes are.. Really, none of them. Because continental lost my luggage. I had literally brought all of my shorts and capri's because you don't get a chance to wash your clothes at the festival. So I have one outfit until they return my luggage.
I love my husband, and I'm soo happy to see him though so it kind of makes up for the no clothes thing. :)

Photo Hunters Creative

I have two for this week, this is the first

As noted in the below post, I dropped a peanut jar on my computer so this is my "new" computer

This is probably one of the most creative things I have ever seen. I could never have come up with it.

Both photo's taken by Dirkey on 7/28/07 in George, Washington

So Yeah

I broke my computer last night with a peanut. Thats right a peanut. Well a Peanut Jar to be precise. I picked up a peanut jar that was behind my computer and the lid was not on. The peanut jar then fell on my hard drive and broke my computer.
Thats right I broke my Apple MacBook Pro with a peanut jar while I'm away on business. Nice.
I'm soo surpised that I have a job still.

Seriously, is this REALLY HAPPENING

Some of you may remember that I flew from Newark out to Sea Tac/Seattle Airport the other day. You know, the DAY after they found a Rocket Launcher pointed in the flight path of the Newark airport.
So now I'm in Washington State getting ready to fly home in a few days and this is the headline...

Northwest Airlines Flight Returns to Sea-Tac Airport After Report of Bomb on Board

What the heck, I'm staying. Schmoop can ride his motorcycle across the country to meet me out here.

I'm such a spaz

Just to let you know we got here safely. Not before I freaked out on the plane because there were five questionable men stationed throughout the plane, turns out they were harmless and everything went well. There are some times in my life that I have wished that I didn't have the imagination that I have, today is one of those times. I can be utterly ridiculous!
Also we went out to the Rainforrest Cafe for dinner, and I'm tired. So thats about it.
We are back at our hotel (near Seattle) and tomorrow morning we are going to go check out some of the sites before we head to the festival venue. I'm excited to see some of the town!!
Ok night all :)

BREAKING NEWS: NEW YORK — Federal investigators are examining what appears to be a military rocket launcher found Friday morning on the front lawn of a Jersey City home that sits directly in the flight path of busy Newark Liberty International Airport, CBS2 News reported.

Anyone want to guess which airport I'm taking for my cross country flight tomorrow??
Yeah thats right Newark....

Summer of Incredible Busyness

Hi Everyone,
Wow this summer feels like its flying by. I went out to Creation East the end of June, my hubby met me out there and actually dressed up like everyones favorite cucumber in front of about 75,000 people. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen!!! It was an amazing week if you are interested there are some highlights on Monsterpod. I'm truly blessed to have such an amazing job!!! From there I was catatonic for a few days from extreme tiredness!
My sister from Minnesota brought her son Ryan to visit right after the festival. So I had a good time going to the Cape May Zoo with them, taking him to a Jersey Diner, going to the Seaside Heights Boardwalk, etc. It was really nice to see both of them, my sister is preggers so hopefully Schmoop and I will be able to make it out there to see her baby when its born. During this whole time my brother had a birthday party for my two nieces Gracie (4) and Meggie (1), it was so nice seeing them and all my family! My niece Kaitlin was also there with her pregger belly, she's having twins!!!! Since then Schmoop and I went to the beach last Saturday where the stupid ocean stole his wedding ring. :( We got a silver replacement but I have a feeling someone is going to get a new wedding band for his birthday! (gee I wonder who!). Schmoop got me some really pretty white gold hoops at a cute little jewelry store in Ocean City and of course we got our Johnsons Popcorn. We also went to Smitty's ( a local clam bar) with Mama and Papa K and some of our other friends. Sunday we just vegged, it was awesome. Now I'm getting ready to fly out tomorrow to Seattle for Creation West. Then after that my summer should slow down alot!
I'm looking forward to some down time, Schmoops birthday is coming up so I want to throw a Pirate party for him sometime in August. Then we're planning on going up and seeing a Phillies/Mets game with my brother. Anyway, I hope to be back to some regular blogging soon.
Ok my list of wants I really really want to get a wide angle Pro L series 24-85 Lens, I'm hoping I get one sometime in August so I can take some awesome pirate party pictures. :)

Pink and Purple Princess Cake

Gracie and Meggie's birthday party was this weekend so Tamara and I made this.

Gracie requested a pink and purple princess cake so we happily obliged. This was made with two 16" rounds, 6 hear cupcakes, one medium heart cake and one small cupcake. We cut the rounds to fit the two heart towers and then decorated with hearts, pink marshmallows and of course buttercream icing.

This is the beginning of the end.

C-ya soon Anna and Ryan, we'll miss you!!

Anna and Ryan came in for a long weekend from Minnesota. Anna wanted to show Ryan some of the things you can do if you don't live in the frozen tundra, like going to the beach. She also was showing him that you can do more with water than just ice fishing. Ryan had a good time with all the other kids and despite blue lips and shivering like mad he did not want to get out of the pool. There was also a trip to the Cape May Zoo (Mama K and Peanut came too!). I'll miss you guys, we'll probably see you around January when the new baby comes along!!

It was nice to see you!!!

My niece the hero

As you can see from her arm she has either saved a small family from a burning building or she just didn't put on enough sunscreen. As you can also see she's pregnant with twins.
Here are the pictures I had to take to get her to let me to take a picture of her pregger belly!

Wordless Wednesday

Taken on 6/29 by a festival attendee

So the festival is done and we are back!!  It was a great week but incredibly tiring, we had some loooong hours!  Here is one picture the hubby took of the candlelighting.  They give everyone in the place a candle and the outcome is amazing.  Just cymbolizing that we need to be set apart from everyone else by our love for people.  There is no room for being judgemental, we have received much grace and therefore should extend that much more.  Well thats all I'm still beat tired!!
Only 3 more weeks till the next one!
